My Uncle Larry, who is in his 80's, sent me 2 quilt tops that his mother
pieced together 30 years ago. From what I can tell, she used 4"
squares of fabric from the 1950's, 60's, and 70's. This simple block
quilt is almost a King size quilt! She put a lot of time and effort
into completing this project. I'm sure, like most family quilts, the
fabric will remind them of clothes they use to where, or they will
remember the sewing projects that their mother worked on, back in the
day! This "Utility Quilt," is like other utilities, to be used
everyday to help us through the day, comfort us, and ease our way!
