BUBBLES EVERYWHERE "JELLY ROLL AFTERNOON QUILT"

 Another quick "jellyroll afternoon quilt" made my one of my quilting ladies that has brought her quilts to me for several years.  It is therapeutic for us to have a project to focus on.  It can be cleaning, gardening, washing dishes by hand, and even sewing! This small quilt is just that, therapeutic!  It only takes an afternoon to piece together, iron seams, and quilt up this cozy quilt. The simple bubble stitch pattern, holds the quilt layers together and compliments the fabric choices.

Even though this pattern is a simple over-all, I am surprised at how many times people chose this stitch.  It compliments the straight lines of the pieced quilt and highlights the circles in the print!

Here while the quilt is on the quilting frame, you can see the rolled backing fabric.  The stitching really goes well with the back fabric as well as the front.  This has been a fun, quick quilt that was an easy evening project!
