BENTO BOX QUILT, TIME FOR LUNCH?

This quilt is called Bento Box which means "Lunch Box" in Japanese. It is made up of Orange, Purple, Black and White fabric. The stitch is called Swirls Simple. The curved stitching softens the lines of the quilt.

I decided to document my Un-Boxing of the fabulous things that we brought home. I traveled with my daughter’s mother-in-law and we had a blast together. My dad’s family is about 30 minutes away, in Chillicothe Missouri, and we were able to stay with them before and after our retreat . What a great time of making memories with these ladies who also attended the Doan Girls Retreat. I hope that you too will have the chance to visit Missouri Star Quilt Company and Hamilton. We discovered the best place for pizza was at the gas station by the highway, Casey’s! There were just so many delightful surprises. Thank you to Jenny, Misty, and Natalie.
